Love Forest Lake Country Store. We often get Kris's home made pizza. It's a family favorite.
Rude owner and terrible "service"-if you can call it that. Owner acts like he is doing you a favor by letting you eat there.
Love Forest Lake Store!! We always find A happy and helpful Meark and Kris at breakfast time. Pizza on short notice and a selection of great wine. What's not to like?
The pan fried walleye on Fridays is not your normal "fish fry".....its way better. The homemade bread is a great way to enjoy a "cold cut" sandwich. The bottle beer selection is fantastic! You can buy 1 or the whole damn 6 pack if you want. I'm not a wine guy but the wine selection is pretty impressive. Drink it there or take it with you. Great family run business!
I love stopping in the Forest Lake Country Store for both breakfast & lunch. For breakfast I recommend either the omelettes or the biscuits and gravy. For lunch my personal favorite is the Mayflower panini. On your way out pick up a treat from their wide variety of wines and beers.
