Opened by a team that believes dinner and a movie are a natural combination, this courtyard restaurant and bar keeps an internationally intellectual atmosphere by projecting the films of Fellini, Godard and company on its neighbor’s walls. Tableside speakers add a drive-in feel to the French bistro fare, letting the films function as either the background or a main attraction. Reservations are recommended as Foreign Cinema is one of the leading contestants in the Mission hipness race.

Best boozy Sunday brunch in the city!
My favorite of all our meals in San Francisco!
Delicious and fun
Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Amazing food and cocktails. Great service.
Awesome service. Amazing food. Relaxed atmosphere. Fun.
Wine pairing on the menu was fantastic, loved the pasta and the duck breast, sit at a spot inside but by the doors so you get the full view, although nobody watches the silent movies. Server was patient and stopped by enough to check on us
Salmon prepared perfectly, 2 dozen oysters so fresh & tasty, baked eggs in pork over polenta, crab flat omelette, Brunch toast spread with ricotta topped with berries, mushroom omelette with crispy potatoes. Everything was excellent
So good. Sick wine list
