Got my little buddy Clyde in the other day to have some mats removed. Clyde runs away from me anytime he sees me with a comb in hand. He knew something was up, and hid under the bed. I finally managed to snag him and get him into the cat carrier, and it was constant meowing all the way to Nicoll's. Her gentle touch along with her mom's help always seems to have a calming effect on Clyde. I brought my Maine Coon "Lou" in for the second year in a row. His belly gets all matted because of his long fur. Very pleasant and successful experience again. I think Lou likes them combing him instead of me! Lou will return there when needed with a smile.

The only reason I gave this shop 4 and not 5 stars is because I didn't actually get my dog groomed and can't speak for that aspect. I stopped in to check the place out and the owner was very friendly and knowledgable. She carries quality products (only made and sourced in the USA food products) and welcomed my input for a line of toy I've had particular good luck with. She also didn't give me any weird looks and rude comments when I mentioned my fur-child is a pitbull, so that right there earned her some major brownie points... read more
