Of course any doctor who would restrict their practice to only see cats, is going to be very passionate and skilled in treating cats. Dr Faigen spent time with me discussing in detail how to understand kidney dysfunction and how we can treat it. He was so gentle and caring and informative. I am so happy he is in practice. The office caters to cats, of course, right down to the sliding doors instead of hard slamming doors, we cat owner know loud noises can scare them.
Not sure where to begin. Dr. Karpf is wonderful. Our first visit from him was to treat our ailing aging cat. He is so gentle and compassionate. Having him come to our home reducing the vet visit a million times over. If you are worried about cost~don't be. Our overall first visit wound up costing $100 LESS than a visit that offered a free exam. These places make up cost by over inflating meds. Not so with Dr. Karpf.
I had to put my Dozer down today. I cannot say enough about the compassion, love, caring and understanding the entire staff at For Cats Only showed for my Dozer AND me!!!!!. Dr Faigen is the ONLY Veterinarian I would allow to ever do anything with my cats - Digger and Dozer. Dr Faigen was as visibly upset today as I was. Darla and Maria are so compassionate and loving - I knew I made the right decision but they reinforced that decision and gave me the hugs and caring that I needed to get through this. Thank you all! At the moment, Peanut is not soooooo crazy about his vet. (Who enjoys getting vaccinated?) His mom thinks the Visiting Vet is the absolute BEST!!!
