Had been reluctant for years to have bunion surgery after hearing all the horror stories. Only one girlfriend told me that she had no problems so I opted for her doctor. Dr. Sklar. At the consultation Dr. Sklar was not only very professional, but also very comforting. He did the surgery Thursday, and I feel absolutely wonderful. A little discomfort late that evening, took a pain pill, and the discomfort was gone. It was the last time I took a pain pill. Slight discomfort the next day, but NO PAIN!! I have just had my 2nd plantar fascitis surgery and again it has worked. Dr. Sklar did the other one 6 years ago on my right foot and not only was it successful but I have not had any problems since with my foot. On my job I stand 12 hours at a time on concrete in safety-toe shoes and these surgeries have been life savers. Dr. Sklar is very pasionate towards his patients and truly cares about your problems not like other doctors. He is also very knowledgable and a top expert in his field of medicine.
