Great specialty grocer! Even though Fook's is pretty much the only place to get Asian ingredients in Athens, they still have top quality and great prices! The staff is extremely helpful when I describe what I'm trying to make. They have ingredients for Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thak food. It's so much fun to browse around there!
Fooks Foods Rude Owner THIS ONE DOES NOT DESERVE A STAR THERE NEEDS TO BE A "NO STAR BUTTON"! I've been going to this store for a few years since it is the only Asian Grocer in Athens that I know of. Fooks is great Fooks is great. I shop there weekly and I think I could almost give up going to the grocery store except for needing milk.In addition, to Asian staples, Karen always has a wide variety of fresh vegetables, often from local sources, at very reasonable prices. Fooks "Rude" Foods Athens GA I'm so glad another Asian grocer opened in Athens Georgia. That woman that owns or runs Fooks Foods should not be working with customers. She obviously does not like certain people, but I might be wrong, she might not like anyone. She is the rudest person I have dealt with in Athens.
RecommendedExcellent service and great prices! Always has everything I need and stuff that I didn’t think I could find locally. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is fresh and delicious.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrible service. If you want to spend $40 on 4 frozen meals and 25 pieces of paratha (“value pack”) and get ripped off of your hard earned money then please visit. All college kids looking for far better service, food, and prices go to Oriental mini mart down the road. People are 10x friendlier, better selection of product, etc. this establishment also does not let you return any items and does not have prices listed for half of these items.
