Go to Winco instead Ive found Winco to be cheaper, cleaner, better quality of meat by far and fruit. Food Maxx to me is very dirty and has become very ran down. Once we bought Chicken there and got so sick for two days with food poisoning, I never went back again for anything. Their fruit gets brown the next day once home and most of it was from Mexico so I freaked when swine flu was going around of course. One Dishonest Employee Who Steals from the Elderly? I am writing this review for the White Lane store, which is not on the list provided by insider pages. I have found Food Maxx to be satisfactory on customer service, variety, and prices. The food quality is okay for the price. You get what you pay for. Foodmaxx Employed After reading the comments people have left, I felt that an employer would answer to the complaints. First off, if the customers only knew how much the workers try to make it a great place for you. But it's also your fault the store is out of shape, we aren't the ones busting open food, throwing trash on the ground, or just throwing stuff where it doesn't belong, which creates a bigger distraction from you, the customer.If we only met halfway on the care of the store it would look great, just remember that ... read more
food max I dont shop for groceries in here that often but when I do I am always disapointed with the quality of their items. They dont have a great produce or meat section in here. I find their meat is often expired an out for sell. I choose to shop elsewhere where I am happier with their selection of items.
Food Max Food Max has amazing prices but they do not always have the best quality. Their produce section is horrible in my opinion. It never looks clean and fresh. I wont buy produce here. But I do like to buy meat from here the prices are great on it.
not the greatest Suprisingly enough I usually find higher prices at Food For Less than at other grocery stores that I shop at. They tend to be out of stock on several items when I go there, and a bad thing is you have to bag your own groceries!
not all that great This grocery store lacks in a lot of ways. They have shopping carts all over the parking lot, and not up front where they should be. The store is messy both inside and out. They dont keep the shelves neat and stocked very well, and their meat selection is not that great. The prices are not that good even though you would think they would be, I find better prices at other grocery stores.
wow It's simple, the store has the lowest prices around. However, the produce and meat departments are in a constant state of lacking quality, freshness, and variety. Though the store is a warehouse, somehow there are many items that simply do not appear on their shelves. In addition the people skills in most of the employees leave me feeling as if I have "she has the black plague" written on my forehead.
