The girl at the register had an attitude and messed up my order. Why would I want cole slaw with a burger and fries? The menu reads fries and pop for a deluxe not fries and cole slaw. May not be back for a while.
Mannn I've lived in Southwest Detroit my whole life.. Yesterday ate at the Food Exchange for the 1st time in my life.. And oh my god that was easily one of the best burgers i EVER had. I had a BIG HARVEY and that thing was so damn huge lol.. The wait is about 20 minutes but i learned after that they make it FRESH so i had NO problem waiting. I'll be back again forsure. Love you guys and i love Detroit.
I buy a big baby soon as i touch down to Detroit and by one on my way back to Chicago
Just ordered one of the most expensive items on the menu (seafood big baby fries) and waited 25 minutes to be told that they don't take debit cards w/o chips in them. Soooo...what? I'm supposed inconvenience myself to leave and drive down to the gas station to pay another $3 at the ATM because, once again, I chose a black owned business that is as half-assed as most of them are. Food is good, but customer service is lacking. Call to place a order and was told to hold. Phone was placed down and I could hear customers being serviced. Was on hold for over 5 minutes without anyone returning to the phone to take my order. Called back several times only to get a busy signal. Unfortunately this isn't a isolated incident. I love and go out ny way to support black business. However it's multiple encounters like this which makes its difficult to do so. Black business owners, you've got to do better.
Try the Big Baby Your Going To Fall In Love With It
Went to the hood! Had a Big Baby after reading about the place in a web post! I spend a lot of time in Detroit because I love it there, from the Eastern Market to the Zoo to Belle Isle to Mexican Town and anything in between! It was well worth the trip, great sandwich great people behind the counter, it's just a shame that it has to have bullet proof glass between thee and they! Can't we all just get along?
