I had a torn meniscus and from the first visit to no pain (except surgery site) was less than a month. Dr. Wahlquist explained everything from start to finish and took great care of my knee.
Dr. Cortes and his staff were outstanding! It was determined I needed a hip replacement and I got it in a timely manner. My incision is so small and my recovery has been amazing! I'm so grateful to Dr. Cortes for the excellent care and bedside manner! Very happy!
I've had two doctors there (one retired). The new doctor is Sean Wahlquist, I really like him. Takes lots of time to explain everything at a level I can understand.
My first visit with Wahlquist he assured me I wouldn’t need surgery, simply PT. I was a few months post-injury & knew how screwed up my shoulder was, and hesitated to believe him. I hoped he was right, did a few months of PT while I waited for imaging. My second visit with Wahlquist, he immediately told me I needed surgery, reviewed the imaging with me, and seemingly entirely forgot that he told me I “wouldn’t need surgery.” He then said after I’d receive surgery from him, he’d “clear me for college football 6 months post-op... read more
Dr Wahlquist was fantastic. He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to ensure care. One of the best ACL doctors around.
