Staff was nice but they aren't transparent with pricing. They did not honor the online price for my regular maintenance, charged $50 more than online even with their "afternoon drop off discount" and did not even change my windshield wipers as requested. Don't think I'll be coming back.
My recent experience with the service department at Folsom Lake Toyota. This was my first ToyotaCare 5,000-mile service appointment for a simple tire rotation and fluid inspection. Despite scheduling an appointment in advance, I waited over two hours and no work was ever started on my vehicle. I eventually had to ask for my car back because I needed to pick up my daughter. Went there once for a check engine type issue with a diagnostic that was overpriced! Ended up being a simple gas cap not being screwed on all the way, worst part was in communicating with the service staff, believe it was Russo, that I was in the area for a family emergency, and needed to be in and out asap or figure out if I was to leave the car, so I could get back to the hospital. Three hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Paul said the coupon price was invalid since my vehicle required synthetic oil (which is extremely common). Waiting area was at least comfortable for being there that long.
I’ve been going to Folsom Lake Toyota Service since I bought my car over 5 years ago and I am officially never going back. I’ve been giving them my business for some time but as time went on, operations got worse. I went in at 7:30am hoping to get done at a good time but I didn’t get out until 11.
