So I brought my 2011 Prius in for an inverter recall/repair that Toyota had to cover. The service writer was real short with me. They told me a week or so till it’ll be repaired. They text me 2 days later saying it’s done which was a surprise but when my wife picked the car up they told her nothing about what was done to the car. Just gave her a receipt and sent her on her way. Maybe because I wasn’t spending a lot of money on repairs we were treated a lil differently I don’t know. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I brought my vehicle in specifically to have my stereo replaced, and instead the technician performed a hard reset. After I received a call saying that my part was actually available — meaning the replacement should have been done during my appointment. What makes this even more frustrating is that after I left. I brought my Toyota RAV4 in for a factory authorize repair: Customer Service Protocol (CSP) 24TE04. I had the documentation with me. I gave the documentation to Assistance Service Manager David L. Despite the fact that I had shared the CSP document with David, he contacted me later in the day to tell me the repair was NOT covered, and asked me to authorize for nearly $1000.
