I’ve been seeing Dr Foley for 20+ years now, and have never been disappointed with his knowledge, empathy and care. He seems to be very involved in the research and discovery for the treatment of MS, and occasionally it seems hard to see him. However he has an amazing team. From frontline support right on to his partners and an excellent group PAs. When he is available, he is spot on as if its only been a week since I saw him last. He has worked diligently on my case, having a less than desirable or “higher risk” medicine/tr... read more

I can't believe the nasty comments that have been left on this page. Dr. Foley is a WONDERFUL doctor. He is kind and understanding and been so helpful to me. One person complained that he misdiagnosed their MS for another disease. Well, Dr. JOHN FOLEY does not diagnosis MS. You are sent to him after other doctors do their best to diagnosis YOU! Did they even have the right diagnostic tests done in the first place? I get an MRI yearly to look for lesions. Go Dr. FOLEY!

Nice, easy-going manner. Jokes a bit so visit not stressful. Listens well. Still moves the appointment along so I didn't have a long wait before he saw me. I have recommended him to a relative by marriage. I have seen 3 other neurologists. I have even been able to relate my experiences with those neurologists with Dr. Foley and he agreed with my assessment of them. One neurologist we both loved who died of pancreatic cancer too soon, one neurologist not covered by my insurance and one who thankfully moved out of state.

Dr. Foley MISDIAGNOSED me with Multiple Sclerosis & for 4 years I took immune modulating & suppressant drugs and powerful steroid treatments. Even after he said I was an atypical case, as I had not progressed in the disease, nor had some of the symptoms, he wanted to keep me on the medication that could cause a fatal brain virus. He never looked into the possibility of a different autoimmune disease. I found a new neurologist at the U who, along with her colleague told me I NEVER had MS. I have no idea if those powerful drug... read more

Needed immediate assistance with a new diagnosis of MS. First appointment scheduled 2 months out and then cancelled 3 weeks before appointment and rescheduled for 6 more weeks further out. No consideration given to the fact I live 3 hours away from his practice and I am still trying to work full time through all the problems with my new diagnosis. Forget it. Not worth it.

I have had a very good doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Foley. My care partner comes to each of my visits and he takes the time to answer both of our questions. The NP I also see keeps a very open line of communication with Dr. Foley, which helps me to not have to remember or repeat information already discussed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Foley to my friends and family members if they needed a neurologist.

Poor customer service. Super slow office. I called over and over to get the results from heart tests I had done and the office took weeks to get back to me (and even lost my results at one point). My cardiologist needed their notes from my file and they took 2 weeks to let me know that they didn't actually have any notes in my file and that it would take another week to get my notes completed. Absolutely worst office I've ever worked with. Very unprofessional.
