I had a disappointing experience. The prices were very high for eye exam and I felt that charges were not fully explained to me beforehand. I believe patient consent and clear communication should be a priority before any treatment or additional costs are incurred. Overall, I was not satisfied with the service and would not recommend it based on my experience.
Dr. Dawnson sold this practice in August and no longer works here. The new doctor seems ok, but that’s not who I set up an appointment to see so I’m frustrated because I was really looking forward to this. Additionally, they do not warn you about charging $59 for your retinal scan before doing the procedure so just prepare financially for that. Definitely not the same since Dr. Dawson left. My contacts are not clear even the Dr. stated "Oh these are better for you. They provide more moisture." I feel my script is off. The manager questioned me when I told her about the samples she gave me. I miss Dr. Dawson's warm personality and care. The new Doc is just not her. Sorry. Dr. Dawson fit my contacts perfectly. Don't twist my words. Thank you.
I have a very complex prescription that requires correction for multiple maladies. After unsuccessfully seeking remedy at numerous optometrists without success and at great expense, I was referred to Dr. Dawson. My vision is now superb and I am highly impressed by the professionalism of my entire interaction with Focus Eye Care. This was decidedly a five star experience.
An excellent experience! Purchased a pair of glasses here. The staff and the doctors are extremely caring and helpful! Wanted a specific style of frame , and this was not on their display - so, Veronica pulled up the manufacturer’s catalog and helped select and order additional frames so that there were more choices. Was able to pick one that felt just right! Very happy with the purchase!
