An excellent experience! Purchased a pair of glasses here. The staff and the doctors are extremely caring and helpful! Wanted a specific style of frame , and this was not on their display - so, Veronica pulled up the manufacturer’s catalog and helped select and order additional frames so that there were more choices. Was able to pick one that felt just right! Very happy with the purchase! If you’re someone who hasn’t seen your eye doctor in decades (like I was) then Focus is the best place for you I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Karovic. Dr. Dawnson sold this practice in August and no longer works here. The new doctor seems ok, but that’s not who I set up an appointment to see so I’m frustrated because I was really looking forward to this. Additionally, they do not warn you about charging $59 for your retinal scan before doing the procedure so just prepare financially for that. This turned out to be an awful experience. My initial exam was pleasant, and people were friendly. But I went downhill from there. I went back to pick up my glasses, and literally I couldn’t see anything with them on. The tech made some new markings and they remade them. I went back. Still no good. A different tech took the markings, took a little more care. Went back, still no good. They said the doctor would recheck my eyes for no charge if the prescription changed, if it stayed the same, they would charge me for the exam.... read more
I love this place! I’ve had many others eye doctors and Dr. Dawson truly cares about her patients. The folks in the front are always helpful and even custom fit my glasses by taking exact measurements of my old ones since no one carries them anymore. They go above and beyond for their patients and they make relationships with them. Every year I come in they remember me and continue to chat with me as they did over a year ago. They truly care. Love this place and highly recommend them to everyone.
