good pizza, with generous toppings – the crust was good, but nothing spectacular The pepperoni and sausage tasted great The medium pizza would easily feed most couples It took about 15 minutes for our order to complete It cost a little more, but it's worth it I definitely recommend it

Perhaps defines its own pizza style – I have been going to Flying pie since the early 90s. For some reason I have always had problems convincing people to come and experience.. maybe they do not believe my descriptions of pizzas towering with topings rotating in the oven, or the upside down table on the ceiling complete with a pitcher of beer (Hey, where is that at the LO location?). But once they do, they are always hooked... and stuffed. Stay away if you do not like to commit the sin of glutony... haha. Just have one piece... read more

Seriously Good Pizza – Yeah, the toppings are gigantic, but the taste of the pizza is also excellent. The crust was a little soggy in the middle toward the end of the pizza, but the toppings were so filling and the flavors so good, that it more than makes up for any drawbacks. I guess I just have to eat the pizza quicker.

Great lunch special – This is a great place to go during lunch. You get a slice of pizza with whatever you want, salad, a drink and two bread sticks. How can you not be happy with that? On the pizza, no matter what you order, you definitely get your moneys worth on toppings. You may be a little tired when you get back to work because you are so stuffed but who cares.

Excellent Pizza – I was in the mood for a good pizza and decided to try something new. I usually order pizza from Giovanni's or Nonna Emelia's - but this time made the drive to Lake Oswego and picked up an extra large stromboli pizza from Flying Pie. The pizza was excellent - tons of toppings and everything was very fresh. The italian sausage is unique as far as pizza places go and tastes great. I will definitely be back. I can't say much about the restaurant itself - as I picked up my pizza. The inside look pretty simple - ... read more

Pizza like you always wanted – Since the early eighties we have never been disappointed walking out the door with a pizza to go from either location. My Italian wife swears they use the best Italian sausage in town - I dunno, but it is better than any other I've had on a pizza. For all I know it could be off the shelf from WalMart, but IT IS GOOD. Burned crust - Never. Pie size - large is 2 days worth of games. Only improving since opening the original location on Stark. Don't expect Jerusalem artichokes marinated in fragran... read more

Great Fresh Pizza – I wish I would have found them sooner, The pizza is fresh with lots of fresh toppings. I order a large pizza for the two of us and did not know that it would weigh so much. Thee pieces and I was done. But had lunch for the next day. Wonderful pizza. The ambience I not to such about, I think it could be so much more with A little world charm. I have been back and will continue on going back.
