Couldn't resist the wafting smell of baking pizza We ate lunch at Flying Pie and enjoyed it. I like the fact that they will make up a slice of pizza any way you want it. My step-son had the supreme and it was piled high with toppings.
Best Pizza Great Lunch Specials and variety of pizza to create. Call ahead to have it ready. One piece will fill you up along with the salad bar and soda. You can't go wrong here, great value great pizza, give 'em a try.
Good take out I haven't been inside Flying Pie Pizzeria but we had take out from there at my work. The pizza was good. The menu had some interesting options. I would definitely try it again.
Great for big groups. Really good pizza for you and your closest 30 friends.... Flying Pie has a huge dinning room that can accommodate large groups. Their menu is also varied - really good pizza options (try the thin crust), subs, salads, calzone. They have some interesting options like the pastrami calzone.
awesome pizza – I love this place. Great old school fork and knife pizza.
Lunch – We went on Sat around 3ish, there was only one other couple there. We ordered 3 subs, and it took them 40 minutes to serve them. It was a long wait and they were not even busy.
great chicago-style without pretense – if you like chicago style vs new york style, this is the best in portland hands down. either way, the food here is wonderful and you can get a board game to keep you entertained. very family friendly, go there on a weeknight and you can talk to your date over the table without having to yell. additionally, they will sell you a REAL large pizza as opposed to a rip-off.
