My boss and I's favorite place to eat! We are stuck on the pasta salad, my daughter loves the teriyaki bowl and my niece loves the sushi! There's a wide range of choices so everyone is happy!
The service was ok is the best thing I have to say. The wait time was horrible! 2 and a half hours for three rolls with maybe four tables in the whole restaurant, and They used can tuna instead of the salmon the rolls were supposed to come with!! Which tasted awful! And to top it all off the restaurant was maybe 45 degrees the whole time. So we say there freezing with barely an service and no food.
The service was awful. The planning by management was awful. The flavor was awful. I will never come back to what used to be my favorite restaurant, as i get higher quality sushi and service at the smith's deli counter. For years this was my favorite restaurant. I worked here for a few months years back, and ate here almost as often as i could afford to until january, when i moved to las vegas. Passing through Elko and was happily surprised. Very good sushi and experience overall.
First time visitor to Elko, NV and the Flying Fish Restaurant. Had no expectations. I ordered the seared Tuna salad. It was excellent. I could of easily split with another person. Taste was great, the salad greens were fresh, and the service was top notch.
