Recommendeda small tasting group got together at the Flying Fig to enjoy some older wines and company....the service there was impeccable and the burger I had was both perfectly cooked and easily the best I have had in forever....Karen Small's restaurant has been a cornerstone in Ohio City for years and is still as exciting and fresh as it was "back in the day"...very highly recommended...
Very flavorful menu and cocktails! Great service and relaxing atmosphere.
Had a lovely brunch at the Flying Fig. I had a quiche special that was perfectly done. My husband had the corn and andouille pancakes, that were amazing.
Service was terrible. Sat for 15 minutes before anyone came over to wait on us. Once some came over, they said sorry for the confusion. As you can see in the pictures there is basically only 4 other people in the place and all the workers are standing at the bar. My order was messed up twice.
I typically don’t air my grievances on a public forum however, when I contacted the restaurant to privately discuss my issue I was dismissed. Several members of my party had a very poor customer service experience with the manager at the Flying Fig on Friday, and when I called the next day and asked for contact information for the owner to provide feedback, that same manager refused to provide it. Bacon wrapped dates are fabulous! Grass fed burgers! Cozy place. Friendly and not rushed. WILL be back.

Great meal and great service!
Had a good experience on a previous occasion but not today. Very little gluten free options. Service was slow. Polenta was too salty. The salad was gritty. I won’t try this place again.
