RecommendedHad a lovely brunch at the Flying Fig. I had a quiche special that was perfectly done. My husband had the corn and andouille pancakes, that were amazing.
Service was terrible. Sat for 15 minutes before anyone came over to wait on us. Once some came over, they said sorry for the confusion. As you can see in the pictures there is basically only 4 other people in the place and all the workers are standing at the bar. My order was messed up twice.
I typically don’t air my grievances on a public forum however, when I contacted the restaurant to privately discuss my issue I was dismissed. Several members of my party had a very poor customer service experience with the manager at the Flying Fig on Friday, and when I called the next day and asked for contact information for the owner to provide feedback, that same manager refused to provide it. Had a good experience on a previous occasion but not today. Very little gluten free options. Service was slow. Polenta was too salty. The salad was gritty. I won’t try this place again.
