Terrible experience with this pool pump and filter which seems very poorly designed. Jammed in the open position the first time I used it and now will require force to open (according to the retailer). Avoid this brand.

Service is disgraceful. Better off going for a cheaper brand that lasts longer and there is some level of after sales service. Shelled out good $$ for a pool cleaner that lasted 3 months and just get continually ghosted when trying to get it fixed. Only reason there is a one-star rating is that there is no option to choose a zero.

Hard to be worse. I have had a robotic pool cleaner that has required multiple call outs including replacing motor blocks at least three times. The most recent last week. This replacement came in the final week of warranty and a new 12 month warranty was issued on the repair. The cleaner worked for 4 days and has suffered a terminal failure again, however , now outside of their original warranty period a claim cannot be lodged. Hopeless system. We spent thousands of dollars on a heat pump, that corroded on the inside and stopped working 2 months after the warranty period ended (3yr warranty and I discovered it stopped working 3 years and 2 months after) and Astral / Fluridra refused to cover it under warranty. This was the first time I had run the pool pump since winter, so it was probably broken during warranty period, but they refused. For a product of this value, that is unacceptable. Booked a service call for a warranty claim on my pump and chlorinator - the booking process was done through our pool installer but communication about times was good- the job was completed but no service report or phone call to explain the issue, what was done to resolve and what next steps/items will be covered under new warranty- I got in touch to find out what’s happening.
