These people just did an appraisal on my home, that I got closed on a week ago! They submitted the appraisal and didn't even submit their own photos, then delayed in response in turning in the appraisal to the bank in a timely manner so I exceeded past the closing date , which had to have an amendment date for a new closing, and not to mention, when they sent in the appraisal my lender had to have them go on a weekend to take their own photos of the home, to be re-submitted right at last minute for the following monday, beca... read more
We had an appraisal done by Mike Floyd and obviously he does not even know how to choose appropriate comps to the subject value. The appraisal came in so off from what the home’s value actually is that is was ridiculous. It’s sad for both the buyers and the seller’s that were expecting to get to close in a few days but just instead have to dispute a lousy appraisal and start over. It is a complete waste of everyone’s time and money spent.
He took forever to give us the report and then appraised the property $60k!! below sale price. The appraisal was so poorly done that all realtors and lenders involved are in disbelief. This man clearly either has no idea how to do his job or, more likely, hates everything and wants to make everyone else miserable as well. Horrible experience with Mike Floyd as an appraiser. Pretty much the same experience as everyone else has posted on here. Not sure how you can be so bad at your job and still keep working in the same field.
