My Wife and I had just moved to the area and were looking for something with local flavor. As my wife was Googling options The Flounder caught her eye so we gave it a shot and what a terrific choice it was. Don't be intimidated by the long line that simply hints of the quality of the establishment and the experience one is about to have. Flounder tasted like sawdust. Salmon stew and cole slaw was good .
Yesterday wasn't our first time eating at the Flounder and it was great. We have fish camps all around us in NC and the Flounder is now a favorite of ours.
Great food and great service. Will be going back with my family. I really enjoyed the evening there. Great people and a great place. Thanks to all.
The food was great as always. My husband and I were there with my sister and brother in law who were celebrating their 12th anniversary and we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Service was good too. Good place to go.
