Upon my first visit I had scheduled a standard checkup because that was what my insurance would cover. I was charged a sick visit because I asked specific questions about my health. Isnt that what you are supposed to do at the doctors office? They also billed me and my insurance different rates and charged me more than what I was supposed to be charged under my plan. I was surprised to read the negative reviews, as I had a great experience with this office 2 years ago when I had a health issue. Today, however, I needed to speak to a nurse and had a very different experience. They now sound very rushed, apparently trying to crank out as many patients as possible. Definitely not customer-focused anymore. Must schedule an appointment even to speak to them (presumably so they can capture revenue from every minute). Pretty disappointing. Looks like I need to find another provider.
This doctors office scammed me out of a low co-pay!!! I have a primary insurance with a very high deductable and a secondary insurance with no deductable for GP appointments. Well, come to find out, they do not accept secondary insurances if you have a primary provider. So I ended up paying for the full amount of the insurance (\$120) vs. your standard \$25 co-pay!!! Dr. Chami, among treating other ailments, saw me through chemotherapy treatments for Hepatitis C. He is a very personable and caring physician, always with a smile on his face and an encouraging word "you need to excercise more" :) Just kidding...he is very active and fit and knows how beneficial it is for his patients to be fit, but he is not pushy about it. I have always had an excellent experience with Dr. Beachs office. I am not sure of the previous users experience, but it is not the dive that they described. I have recommended this office to my family and friends. I have several professional colleagues who also go to Dr. Beachs office and they only have good things to say about their experience. The care and attention I have received at Dr. Beachs has been excellent. Dr. Beach is kind and pleasant. He really cares about the well-being of his patients. I have had the same experience with both of the nurse practitioners. I have always been called back and told the results of my labs and xrays, even when they were normal. I recently found out I have diabetes and the nurse practitioner spent the longest time going over things until I understood it all! I was very grateful.
I went to Dr. Beechs office as a new patient. While there I was thoughly pleased; however, after leaving everything changed. I waited for my blood test results. After a week, I called them. The doctor wasnt available so I left a message to have them call me. After the recommended 24 hr wait time to get back to me, I called them again. The receptionist gave me part of my results. I was a patient for 10 years and never had a problem until she wouldnt refill a prescription without an appointment. The appointment times they had were not until almost a month later and she refused to give me temporary medicine. Obviously the co-payment is more important to her than her patients health. Stay away from her.
The best doctor I have ever been to, have seen Dr. Frank for around 20 years and trust him more then any doctor I have ever been to. I would recomend him to everyone. If you are looking for a doctor who tells you the truth look no further. If you have not had your screening colonoscopy, this is the only doctor I would recomend. His staff is frindly and the most helpful of any other office I have ever been to.
