While this insurance is cheap. I made my payment last month. Almost 4 weeks to be exact and now my son isn’t covered because it takes 7-10 days for it to show active. Absolutely insane. They want their money right away but can’t update status so my child can be seen. After emailing multiple times with no response and a phone call from them for ANOTHER payment I had to call 3 times for them just to submit a request to update the status to active which takes up to 2 days! Went from $20 to over $500 a month for my 2 kids in May 2025. I am looking elsewhere. I can’t afford that and it’s looking like I’m not the only one who no longer fits whatever new criteria that’s been implemented.
Coverage for both kids went up to $552 from $20. I have 2 special needs children and I cannot afford that. Then they charge based on what you make before taxes. That's ridiculous!
It's just awful. Closed the account for my two children in March 2025. In April my bank card was charged $350 for May and April. There are no children on the account!!!!! And there is no payment history option on the online account. And the help desk doesn't know what the refund amount will be and to wait 45 days for it.
