RecommendedI cannot say enough wonderful words about Dr. Friedman. He is the most professional and courteous Doctor I have ever come in contact with. He has been treating my son since birth as he was born with a cataract and performed surgery on my little love at 5 weeks old. Dr. Friedman is always available morning, noon and night, so responsive and always takes last minute appointments to squeeze us in on a whim. My nephew had a terrible experience there last week and his mom has yet to receive a reply to an email sent to customer service, and her review here has since been ignored.
I took my 4 year old son in for an eye exam, during the visit he had to get drops put in his eyes preventing him from seeing clearly. While walking back to a different room to see the doctor a staff member ‘Kim’ at the Jupiter location walked up to my son who could not see properly and put a pen in his face. He actually jumped back when the pen became visible. Why on earth would a woman working in a eye institute think it is ever appropriate to put an eye in a child’s face? Wow, what a wonderful group of people and I'm not related to any of them (smile). The techs are efficient, polite and friendly. The front desk are helpful and friendly which is a rare commodity these days. The surgery center nurses and anesthesiologist are on top of everything and also very kind and accommodating. My surgeon, Dr. Schecter performed cataract surgery on both eyes and I'm seeing great! I was quite nervous for anybody to touch my eyes since I had cornea transplants 20 years ago. Dr. Friedman and his staff are the BEST! Dr.Friedman came to the hospital when my son was only a few hours old. My son whom has “Lowe Syndrome” is now 21 years old and continues with him. ���
