Cuban Sandwiches This restaurant makes really good Cuban sandwiches. There are many variety to choose from. They use fresh ingredients and put a lot of then on the sandwich. My favorit is cooked pork and cheese. The restaurant is very casual and everyone is very friendly there. The prices are very reasonable.
Great Cuban Food This is a great restaurant because it is a great change of pace. I recommend #52- the steak sandwich. The meals are on the expensive side but you get very large portions.
Not worth it – I lived in Miami and ate Cuban food on a regular basis. I found the food to be OK, not special. The cost was totally out of line. I paid $52.87 ($8.00 tip included) for two dinners, coffees and deserts.
The real thing – I was born and raised in Miami and have since moved to Portland Or. but everytime I come to Las Vegas I always stop at the Florida Cafe. This is true, old fashioned Cuban food. Boliche, Ropa Vieja, Media Noches, black beans and rice and more. Soul food, cheap, filling & tasty. Just like coming home!

So-so Cuban food – Save your money and head a bit north on Las Vegas Blvd to El Rincon Criollo. The food is definitely better over there. Plus, it's cheaper! And you can't beat that with a stick!
Feel like your in the carribean – WOW! We took a party of 6 and ate like kings. The staff was attentive, the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the price was decent. Don't miss out on maybe some of the best spanish cuisine in Las Vegas! Your taste buds will thank you!!
Just Like Grandma Makes – I'm half Cuban, so you can imagine my skepticism about eating at a Cuban restaurant in the middle of the desert. However, my experience at the Florida Cafe was great. Sure, the locale and decor aren't anything to write home about, but the food was great. If you're Cuban, and need a little comfort food this is the place.
Ignore 9/26/01 rating – I am glad I didn't see the Sept rating or I would not have gone, and would have missed out on a good restaurant and a fantastico Cuban sandwich, like in Little Havana. The place is clean, and the waitress was friendly and I did not have to wait long for anything.
