I recommend you stop and try the pastry's here, all of them are absolutely delicious! When I visit my grandparents in NY I always stop by get something. ENJOY!
Well I guess that's why I love this place ,it has been one of my favorite places in the area for the best of Italian pastacotti that you can find. Also the best of all the other Italian pastry you can eat.
Having lived in Italy for 4 years in the late 60s and early 70s.. the original Florentine on Bleecker is as Italian as can be.. I close my eyes and the Cappucino is identical.. the decor as dated as it is, is like many cafes and trattorias in Italy so it's the easiest way to experience the Italian culture.. the new one in New Hartford is the same quality but different atmosphere.. they are both "must stop" locations
The best in upstate New York my first stop when I get into town for my yearly visit .
I love my favorite place ever xoxo rum cake best pusties best canoli best cookies best eclairs best just overall love it once had Carlos bakery ... just to see what the hype was all about should have known better than that....nothing beats our Italian food/pastries here in Utica and I have been to many places and feel sorry for people who never experience authentic goods.
It's just simply the best. When I am in town I will always get an order to go. Everyone in my family knows when I come home with a small box.
