We went into Floors Xtra for some carpet. Carm was very helpful with selection. John came out the next day to measure and give us a quote. Within a couple hours we had a quote and went ahead with installation. We stopped back in to bump up the install date and Carm was more than happy to make it happen. The existing carpet and under pad were removed, new tack strips nailed down and under pad installed. In store experience was great. They explained the different flooring and what is recommended for rooms such as basements. Bathrooms, etc.. however when it came time to install. They charged me almost 300$ for "emboss leveling" but didn't actually level the floor. Alot of my flooring has soft spots that I feel will separate over time. Only 1 year warranty on workmanship. No one was there to go over the finished product with me and bring any issues there was installing the flooring. Now I've installed the trim and I can really... read more
