Float Lab is the best sensory deprivation experience I’ve found anywhere. The 2.5-hour sessions, pristine large custom tanks, and fair pricing are unmatched, and Crash (the owner) is super friendly. I’ve tried at least half a dozen float centers across Oregon, Colorado, and beyond, and nothing compares. I’ve visited both Float Lab's locations in L.A. dozens of times, and Venice is my favorite.
Very chill. A great place to relax
The price can't be beat if you can get comfortable there. The website says to go to their other location if venice beach doesn't make you feel safe. It's not venice beach that was my issue with feeling safe. It was the fact that they just lock you in the business and leave you unattended. When you finish you lock up behind yourself. So I just felt generally unsafe being locked in a strange dark room for 2 hours with no one keeping an eye on things. The tanks produced a lot of sound, even with earplugs.
