The Flintco Companies began as Tulsa Rig, Reel & Manufacturing in 1908, supplying wooden oilfield rigs and derricks during Oklahoma s oil boom in the early 1900s. C.W. Flint joined TRR in 1911, and by 1919, he and a partner owned the company. The company established lumberyards in oilfields, entered the construction business and expanded into general building contracting with the purchase of the Fornier Construction Company in 1936.
