First time we ventured out! Will definitely return. What a great atmosphere with friendly people & lots of delicious options. Can't wait to go back!
It's not a farmers market. It's a convention center and boutique. There's not much produce and everything is too expensive. The parking is horrible. I get double up food bucks and I have bought produce there but I can spend better at the grocery stores. The old farmers market was so much nicer and I miss it.
My favorite place back home! Love the variety of vendors. Such a great thing for Flint to have! I've lived in two major cities in other states now and the Flint Farmers Market is the best I've ever seen. Keep up the good work Flint! #FlintFwd
While in Flint, I fell in love with the Farmers' Market. The smoothies, iced lattes, endless variety of fruits and vegetables, along with the variety of food captured my heart. It was one of the places in the area that felt like home :)
Loved it .was my first time but won't be my last time.
Until today l loved the Flint farmers market until today when i realized they operate under unfair policies. I contacted them months ago trying to book one of their rental spaces for an open house for next year and was turned away being told that they were ONLY BOOKING WEDDINGS FOR NEXT YEAR. THEY REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO RESERVE A SPACE AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT BE BOOKING UNTIL SEPTEMBER AND SUGGESTED I TRY BACK THEN. I CALLED BACK TODAY JULY 19 ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE SPACE IS NOW BOOKED FOR ALL SATURDAYS IN JUNE ATLEAST ONE... read more
The convenient location and the familiar smiling faces is what keeps me coming back!! There is always something fun going on at the market wether it's a Tuesday afternoon or a special event like the beer and wine tastings held year round. It's easy to see why the Flint Farmers Market is the cornerstone of the growing downtown area and I am thankful it will be there for years to come!!
I used to feel comfortable being at the old building. Now I get a feeling that my (black) business is not wanted nor needed. Because of this, I only patronize black businesses when I'm there. The prices on fruits and vegetables are way too high... they are the same prices as major grocery stores so what's the point of making the trip there when you can go to your local grocery store! Things sure have changed but I can't say it was for the better!
Absolutely the best farmer's market I've ever been to. Highly recommended.
