Last great vestige of excellent shad fishing on the Potomac
Fletchers Boathouse is one of the best kept secrets in DC. So historic, a great Kayak put in, plenty of parking (if you go through the tunnel to the lower lot) , and just a great place to get on the C&O or the Capital Crescent Trail. Awesome picnic spot if that's what you are after.
Amazing place to launch. Helpful staff and great views.
