Great place to walk by the river take the dogs. The dog do not need a leash and you can rent boats and go all the way down to DC. Also, there is a trail that goes north.
Great startjng place for a bike ride. Also, very historic next to canal and towpath. Boats closed for the season.
Always bustling place with many people coming in and out especially on bright sunny days. Parking is available which makes it a great Virginia locals place. I come through DC through the CNO canal trail
Walked on some trails by the water. Nice views of the river.
