I recently stopped into FleetPride to purchase a starter for my dump truck. I showed the employee exactly what I needed, but instead of helping me, he questioned me repeatedly, telling me “you know not all trucks use the same starter?” I explained that I understood and that this was the part I needed. He refused to sell it to me—saying it was “too expensive” and that he “knew” I’d be bringing it back. He kept questioning me and ultimately refused to sell me anything. I thought the older gentleman that was attempting to "help" me was kind of condescending and rude most likely because I'm a woman that's okay I think all semi part dealers are severely overpriced I get it they're expensive trucks and all but outrageous
