A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. Best shrimp and grits I've ever had, and being over 60 and from Georgia, I've had a lot! Server and manager were great- very friendly and explained everything well. And the restaurant came highly recommended by the North Charleston police department. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Word of mouth is the best advertising, and there has been plenty of that! Sure doesn't catch you from the outside, but once they open the door, it's a different story! Awesome atmosphere, superior wait staff and the food was great! We even got a free piece of THE BEST red velvet cake I have ever had for my birthday! Simply the best!!
