A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. There was a mixup regarding our lunchtime reservation for 8, but the management was very gracious and apologetic. Even gave us 3 complimentary appetizers. Fun, happy atmosphere for celebrating my birthday with 4 daughters and their daughters.
