I was ready to give up on my hopes of completing a 5k. I went to Fleet Feet and Mandy helped me find ne shoes and then spent a lot of time showing me how to prevent shin splints. She was concious of my need to stay on a budget. I used the techniques she showed me and ran in my new shoes this morning. My goal was to complete half my workout before being undone by shin splints -- a lofty goal considering my prior attempt. Not only did I complete my entire workout, I did not have any shin splints! Thank you so much!

I went here for the first time. It was awesome I felt like they actually cared about how my feet would feel not just trying to sell me an expensive pair of sneakers. I went in thinking one pair and got a totally different one plus they were less money!!!!
