Cherry almond latte is my favorite.
We had pretty much just landed in Austin when I was out exploring and stumbled upon Fleet Coffee—and what a find! The entire team is awesome! James went above and beyond to talk with me about the coffee and shared his genuine pride in what they’re serving. Very overpriced weak coffee.
I had their Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cold Brew. Delicious and rich with coffee! Their blueberry muffin was also divine—moist, crunchy with sugar on top, and just the right amount of salt to bring out the flavor. If you’re looking for a proper meal, this is not the place to go. The two items cost me $14 and change, so a bit pricey. If you can get a shaded seat outside, the wind makes a nice ambiance, but would get very hot otherwise.
I asked the worker there if they sold bagels and the worker condescendingly asks me if I'm from New York and that they don't carry bagels. Her tone made it seem like I was silly for asking that lol, maybe she was trying to be funny but it came off super flat. Weirdly enough she tells me they have breakfast tacos instead...like what? I feel like it's more normal to carry bagels rather than tacos but god forbid I ask about BAGELS. Anyway, coffee wasn't sweet at all and yes the price is a bit much, but hey, it's Austin.
