In my opinion, Papermoon has the best Italian food in all of DC! The food is real, authentic, and delicious Italian cuisine. The service is always great and welcoming. I always start off the Insalata Di Endivia, a Belgian endive salad with toasted walnuts and gorgonzola chesse in a raspberry dressing. If I'm extra hungry, I'll order the mushroom caps or fried calamari as an appetizer. For the main course, I usually always order one of their exquisite veal dishes. So much room to spread out and have a good time, djs play more than just the latest hip hop and techno, but also international and latin. Very fun crowd, you could be in a dress or in jeans, everyone is just there to have a good time. Plenty of places to sit and talk if you get tired of the dance floor, and the bar is always stocked well, manger is very friendly and accomodating.
I went to this restaurant for a wedding rehearsal party. I thought the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I got the lamb chops and they were some of the best I had. My wife got the spaghetti and meatballs and they tasted fabulous. We had 20 people in our group and they all left very satisfied. The price for the food is very reasonable too. I will be going back very soon
