Here you will find an interesting menu, outstanding service and one of the most intimate atmospheres in town. The menu changes seasonally, with such items as miso marinated sea bass and grilled breast of duck. The succulent shiitake mushroom appetizer is especially delicious. The best table in the house is located at the point of the "iron;" be sure to request it when you call for reservations.

Great experience, very knowledgeable staff, fantastic atmosphere! Diverse bar with an apt understanding of fine wine! Food is very flavorful and filling! The Flat Iron is a must!
ASK FOR PRICES - They are upselling you – This was another bad experience at the Flatiron, thought I would give it another chance, but the steaks were flat and tasteless, hidden by overwhelming sauces ... and the worst part is that the owner is overbearing, and is touch with everyone, quite egotistical. Ask the prices on the specials, or be prepared to open a new credit card ... much better options, like VMertz in the market as well as M's Pub.

the Flatiron offers big city eclecticism tempered nicely by 'husker charm – I have eaten here three times and have had wonderful meals each time. You gotta love little places that know how to be small and relish their smallness. Classy Date Restaurant If you are going to a concert or a performance at the Orpheum in Omaha, the Flatiron Cafe is a great place to eat before the show. This is definitely a "special occasion" restaurant - it is a little expensive, but very worth it. There is a small menu, but the food is excellent, and the service is great!
