I go in once or twice a week. The staff is friendly, and the food is good. They always have my coffee or raspberry tea ready for me.
Definitely go again for breakfast. Good coffee and sweet cappuccino. A little slow for a Wednesday morning... but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed coffee and conversation during the short wait.
The staff is always friendly, seating is comfortable, and the food is great. I enjoy the Sunday breakfast bar. Bacon, bacon, bacon, sausage, ham, and bacon. Then, of course, there’s biscuits and gravy! Hard to beat.
Our Illowa Harley group rides to Flapjacks at least twice a year for breakfast from the Quad Cities. Food is always great and we always get the most awesome table service from Shelby!
FANTASTIC service & food was DELICIOUS. Definitely coming back!
If your group is reserving the downstairs meeting room, make sure none of your guests use a wheelchair, walker or cane. They won't be able to join you downstairs--there is no elevator. Illegal---yes. This restaurant has had plenty of to have one installed. Bonnie Levien--Iowa City
