Save yourself the trouble. 12:45 appt. arrive a bit earlier finally get called and testing done. 4pm finally called into office for Dr. Flanigen to review results 4:15 pm no Dr. still. 4:30pm left. We are elderly with medical issues. This wait time is unacceptable. Clearly mismanaged practice. Rude staff. Appointments need to be separated into two visits if its that difficult to do in a timely fashion. Will be leaving this practice as tests done and no one came to review them. Worst experience ever in any Dr.'s office!!!!
Every visit there was a two hour wait or more. I had no choice but to leave their practice and a doctor that I trusted. Really wish she hadn’t joined this group.
You sit in the office, moving from room to room and often wait 90 to see her for a 5 minute appointment. I don't have that kind of time.
This doctor tends to have a 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait before procedures are started and she is available to see the patient. This means you will be there for a minimum of 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours. After waiting for almost two hours, I went to the desk and was told this wait time was typical for Dr. Flanigen. While she is a good Ophthalmologist, waiting two hours is poor scheduling. Very good. I am a current patient. She give good advice, goes over all of your questions and concerns.
I was Dr. Flanigen’s patient before she joined Ophthalmology Associates. This practice has questionable billing practices, demanding a copay when Medicare is primary and another insurance covers the balance after Medicare, less copay. When The balance is less than the copay, they do not refund it. Also, when Dr. Flanigen had a solo practice, I never had a long wait. My recent appointment, the wait was over 2 1/2 hours. No one apologized. The doctor rushed through my appointment. I will not be back.
Showed up early to wait over an hour and still not get called in. Cancelled my appointment and left. Office staff not very helpful either.
I was experiencing pain and blurriness in my right eye after being hit at soccer. The next morning I called and got an appt that day. I had never been to an eye doctor before and was nervous I had done serious damage. Dr. Flanigen was so nice and patient with me when I got nervous and needed to stop the exam. She calmed me down and was very thorough with her examination. She is great with patients I would recommend her to anyone!
The care I have received from Dr. Flanigenhas been outstanding. She is courteous, friendly, caring and professional. Her staff is wonderful as well. I feel completely satisfied after each appointment, and highly recommend her to everyone!
