The staff were amazing- they noticed we were first timers and found us a pull through spot, explained everything really well for hook up, and even let us know where to find cold beer! Hahaha! Kids loved the inflatable bounce bubble and we walked to the cafe for breakfast- great first trip, thank you Flamingo team!
We booked with this park 3 weeks in advance and have stayed here multiple times before with our dogs. We drove all the way from TN and they refused to honor the reservation because we have 2 huskies, which they asked when we made the reservation if we had pets but did not ask the breed. We have our 2 year old, 2 dogs, and a cat in the vehicle and no place to stay. This was unprofessional, inconsiderate, and inexcusable.
I would like to make a call out to all the staff at Flamingo Lake RV Resort on their hard work to reopen the park after hurricane Mathew. Steve, Charlie and the rest of the employees busted their tails to get the park cleaned up and ready for us to return. Great job all!!
A last minute trip to see my son ended up a 2 nighter. We love this place! Very quiet! We had no bad experiences with the staff. And this is the first place we've been to where they escort you to your spot. The lake was awesome for the whole family! We are breakfast at the onsite cafe and it was decent. The view was nice and there were lots of turtles and fish that you could feed off the balcony. They rent golf carts in site but we'll be bringing ours next time. My husband and I camped with two grandkids at Flamingo Lake this weekend. It was our first time and we were very pleased. We found all staff to be very helpful and pleasant. The grandkids had a blast and it was non-stop action. My grandson caught a large bass in the lake and was thrilled! My granddaughter loved having arts and crafts in the afternoon after swimming at the water park. As we drove away the kids were asking when we could come back.
Amazing experience! Great atmosphere, awesome Saturday concerts! Clean facilities and trash pick up. I only wish adults could go on the lake water course!!!
As just arrived and love if so far. The cafe is great, the lake is beautiful and our view of the lake is the best!!!
This is a shout out to Steve, Ken and Flamingo Lake for a wonderful cookout and fun time today!!! A great time was had by all and our was very much appreciated. Thanks for all you do!
Climbed the Iceberg today!! If you climbed the Iceberg, state your age and rate your landing!! Im 56 and rated mine a 3 because I landed on my back, but hey, I climbed it!!
