I was contacted by Jimmy Smith on a Monday. He informed me the seller countered and “the ball is in your court” were his exact words. Fast forward two days later and another call from Mr. Smith saying another agent contracted the property that “was in my court” so I told him I’d be by to get my earnest money check after work.
