We chose to visit even though there was one very negative review. They must have visited somewhere else because none of their negative comments are justified. I spent many years in Texas and Arizona and know good Mexican food! This place is very good. Take your time and enjoy a quality drink and lite chips. The wait is no longer than must be expected at this time of the year. It is worth it.

When I first moved to Naples ten years ago, this was the place all locals mentioned for Mexican food. I tried it at least 4 times and 2 times out of the four I got physically sick from something in the food. Im not giving it anymore chances! There is obviously some kind of issue going on with sanitation in the kitchen. I tried Chicken enchiladas, quesadillas, and tacos. I assume its a chicken issue! Bleh.Go to El Tapatio on the East trail for real Mexican food or Taqueria San Julian 2 on Bayshore.

I visited this restaurant this past weekend while on vacation, as we were told their Mexican Food was the best in the area. I couldnt disagree more. The service was horrible. We ordered Margaritas and they were served in regular water glasses, and tasted like they were made from a cheap mix. The food at Flacos is excellent. What a great place to gather with a bunch of friends. The restaurant has an upscale quality, with their white table clothes, professional waitstaff, and food quality. But the nice thing is that you dont have to be fancy to dine there.Their Sangria is soooooo good, I have to be careful that I dont drink too much of it!
I have eaten at Flacos for years and keep coming back. Its the best Mexican restaurant in town. My main struggle at Flacos is not eating too many of the fresh warm chips they bring out before the meal! My favorites include Tacos Al Pastor, Las Fajitas and of course Carne Tampiquens.
