Situated off the beaten path, Five Paces Inn is more of a dive bar than most of its neighbors, but somehow pulls it off with charm. In a juke joint where you'd expect to find only blue-collar workers, you'll instead discover an eclectic mix of seasoned bar-goers who've tired of the trendy Buckhead hotspots. This space comprises of three bars: One Pace Over, Sadie's Tavern and 5P. The limited menu offers competent tavern fare which are sufficient to complement your drinks.

Great Hotel BUT..... – It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Horrible – the bar is horrible. there was a fight there and i tried to break it up and the drunk bartender amanda claimed people tried to choke her out. so people were arresed by atlanta's finests and charged with disordly conduct. Worst bar in the world and worst bartenders in the world. Lets go Amanda keep drinking and serving alcohol while your working and against the law.
Awful service – This place is terrible every time I have been there it has been next to impossible to get a drink and thats when they are not even that busy. They need a new staff of something because a bar tender that does nothing but ignores you is just a terrible person and should only be allowed to serve drinks in the deepest darkest circle of hell.
Dive – Typical Buckhead trashy bar where everybody looks the same, in their Abercrombie jeans and plaid shirts, screaming the words to "Don't Call Me Darling" and "Family Tradition". The "it" spot, if you want to hang out with a bunch of people that fit the "all-white-yuppie-redneck" stereotype. I would rather eat my hand than walk back into that shite hole. Other than that, the place was rad.
Buckhead's original little dive bar revels in the past. – The Scene Take a trip back in time to 1955, before the bling-bling of today's Buckhead nightlife. Not much has changed in here since this was one of the few spots in Buckhead for a drink. Exposed pipes and concrete floors still dominate the decor; quick and generous bartenders still serve up draft beers and strong cocktails; popcorn supplies the base for a night of indulging. Today the smoke-filled bar draws a raging late-20's crowd of Buckhead professionals and grown... read more
Great Place to Chill in Buckhead – Usually I avoid Buckhead, since I can do without all the yuppie attitude. However, some friends wanted to go here and since I'm a good sport, I agreed. What a fantastic experience. This place is completely laid back, enjoyable, and the patrons are friendly. In addition, drink prices are fair and the staff is exemplary.
hottest, successful, straight guys! – Ladies, do not miss your chance to find some normal, very attractive, straight gentlemen. Just be ready to scream over the jukebox and smell like an ashtray when you leave. Its worth it though :)
i've got friends in low places – If you've got friends in low places, then this is the place for you. The feel of 'Five-Paces' is definitely that of a hole-in-the-wall dive bar and the crowd will remind you of a 1990 UGA fraternity party aged appropriately for 2002. But overall, it's a great place. The bartenders are the best in town and if you take the time to get to know some of the locals, you just might have made a friend for life.
Hang Out Dive Bar – Great Dive bar for hanging out with friends and catching a buzz too.
