Usually I am a big fan of the burgers and this is the first bad experience I have had. What’s frustrating is how several employees were huddled by the grill and somehow my patty came out to be so small and shriveled. I did request another patty and the problem got fixed so in the end I was satisfied but disappointed it interrupted my dining experience. Waited with anticipation for them to open in Blue SPrings. Arrived at 11p as I was in the area. They werent crowded- in fact 6 or 7 customers were there. Took 15 minutes to get my small order. Their music was playing so loud I could hear anyhting else and was obnoxious. The burger was okay- nothing spectacular. The fries were limp and greasy- very disappointing. Overall I wont go back.
I have been to five guys all over the U.S., I mean really where else would you go for a quick burger? The new one in blue springs is ridiculously busy. It may take more time to stand in the line than to dive to the Lee's Summit locataion. But other than that (which I'm sure will even out with time) this new Five Guys delivered thier classic 1-2 punch of a great meal and amazing customer service.
