Totally agree - lifetime warranty is a scam. I spoke with Jim Rosen personally and he provided the lifetime guarantee to the tune of $800.00 for the two elliptical machines. I called to get service a year later and got radio silence. I even emailed him directly with no response. He fits the perfect profile of a scam artist. Hope you sleep well at night, Mr. Rosen, knowing that you supported your LA lifestyle by cheating people out of money.
I purchased a HCI PhysioStep Lifestep-Recumbent Linear CrossTrainer that had a fully reimbursable 60 day guarantee return. I notified them well within that time frame that we needed to return it, since it did not fit our Physical Therapists needs. I even had the president of the company, Jim Rosen personnaly give me his word that I could return this if our hospital did not like it for any reason, I could return it for full credit.
