I've had a membership at Fitness for over a decade. It's not the fanciest gym, but I'm not sure you need bells and whistles if you are just trying to get a good workout. The staff has always been great, there's plenty of equipment and classes, and the price is reasonable. I've used other gyms at college and on vacation and fitness is still my favorite. I can't understand the bad reviews...at least here you don't have to wait for a machine or equipment!
I know I would not be living to the ripe old age of "80", if it were not for Fitness Lifestyles, and the warm water aerobics that I have attended since 1996! It was the YMCA, then and I had an autoimmune disease affecting my muscles. I could only walk like "Frankenstein". at that time. I have improved my muscle strength and flexibility by this exercise. I even re-habbed myself after a terrible fracture of my rt. patella (knee cap) with loss of 1/3 of it and still have neurapathy;s due to ripped tendons, nerves, and muscles. ... read more
I have only been going for about two weeks now but so far I really enjoy working out here. My mom and I try to come in as often as we can. Love the classes they offer water classes most of all. I think we found a gym that fits us great at a very reasonable price!
