Very good atmosphere, it was a nice day when I went so I sat outside and had enjoyed looking out over the channel. I had the crab stuffed tilapia and it was perfectly put together. The sauce was light and did not overpower the rest of the dish but complimented the taste of the well prepared tilapia and crab. If someone asked me for a good seafood establishment in Galveston I would definitely recommend the Fisherman's wharf without any second thought.
Back in 2011 we had out wedding reception at the Fisherman's Warf. We has a private dining area with large balcony overlooking the ship in the harbor. It was beautiful! The staff was helpful and wow the crab queso was delicious! We had a small wedding with about 20 close family members and friends. Everyone fit comfortably however I would have done the seating differently. Everyone was at a table like in a restaurant and I wish it was two or three large sections rather than 7 small ones. Fisherman's Wharf has a neat harbor view and the honored position of being neighbors with the tall ship Elissa. It is convenient for anyone using the cruise ship terminal, visiting the Galveston Railroad Museum, or the Strand. Their menu is solid. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Excellent food! Excellent service! We will be back for sure.
