In Texas on vacation from Iowa, we went to Galveston to just checkout the coast line and eat some fresh seafood! We was not disappointed! We set outside and the Elissa was right beside us. Our waitress was fantastic we couldn't have asked for better! For food we had the combo appetizer and for main the shrimp combo wow! All fresh hot and nicely cooked.

We were seated right by the kitchen and were right in the path to the bathroom. I know you shouldn’t expect a quiet, quaint meal here but seriously..... it was almost amusing how loud it was and how many people had to go to the bathroom. Our food was ok, nothing spectacular. I had friend shrimp and Larry had gumbo and fresh oysters. The best part of our meal was Larry’s cheesecake and my pecan tart with ice cream. Their dessert was better than our entree’. The price was expensive. (Ice tea was $3.25) Not sure I’ll go back.
Service was amazing. Food was hot and cooked perfectly. Atmosphere was nice. Got to see Dolphins while sitting out on the back patio.

I had so much better seafoods somewhere so I'm disappointed. It's overpriced and I'm still hungry after we left the restaurant. The large shrimp is smaller than what cotton patch serve and the fish you pay for 20+$ is half of the tail. Servings is sooo small lol! Red lobster back in our town serves bigger bowl and tastier clam chowder. Definitely not going back!
I didn't eat a meal. I had a drink at the bar. The staff were all so nice. Since it was the last day of the rally...I know that they were exhausted from that. I am always thankful for those who work so hard and I know how it feels. I ate there awhile back. The food was great. Location is too. 5 star!!
