Our oldest son took my husband & I out to dinner last night. I just can't imagine fish tasting any better than at Fish House Vera Cruz. Grilled Monkfish with salad & steamed veggies, best healthy meal choice ever! Suggestion~Military discount would make me love this place even more and would be such a treat for our troops who have to pay $300/month for very average (yet nutritionally adequate) meals!
Best monk fish ever! They have abalone too! Go for lunch. Not so crowded!

Our dinner evening was very disappointing. The Chardonnay was not chilled, the California sea bass was dry, the scallops were dry, the mashed potatoes were hard and dry, and the salad was limp. Didn't have the courage to try dessert.
Been going there for years, one of my favorite restaurants!
