Met some local friends while passing through Paso Robles and they recommended this place. We enjoyed the great service, the pleasing atmosphere, and the delicious food. I have to knock a star off, though, because the table was unpleasantly sticky. I think this happens when varnished wood tables are cleaned with the wrong type of cleaner? The tacos are not cheap, but they don't make the tortillas. Its very popular, so I get the sense they don't care as much about the food quality. It's a crowd pleaser though.
We stopped here for lunch and loved it. We had the watermelon mint and regular margarita and we both agreed that while both were tasty, the watermelon was the winner (they use fresh juice and agave and you can tell these are very well made). For the tacos, the fish tacos with mango fell short for us, so we ordered extra of the short rib tacos which were divine - so juicy and tender.
