I have been to First View Eye Care a couple of times for myself and a few times with my almost 9 year old daughter. I have never had to wait at any of our appointments. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. My daughter and I absolutely love the eye doctor. I feel she is very thorough and professional. My experience yesterday was horrific! I was there 1.45 hours without getting my eyes dilated. The equipment they use is antiquated and malfunctions. Only one computer was working to accept payment. So I either could wait another 15 minutes or leave my information. I left my information and never recvd confirmation email. I had to call back. Very rude girl on the phone passing the buck. If you can spare close to two hrs, want antiquated equipment, and rudeness this is your place to go.
I love first view eye care. Myself, my husband and my son are all currently patients! The wait is very short and the employees are so kind and helpful.. I went many times last year due to an eye infection. I not only received immediate care but also got follow up calls to check my progress of healing and quick emergency appointments when my vision took a turn for the worst.. I would recommend them to every one!! My daughter will also be a patient when they are accepting new patients again!!

Renewing my drivers license and FirstView’s staff helped make it much easier! One phone call and I had the paperwork needed emailed and sent back for signatures! Friendly service and in a time where everything is virtual they were able to accommodate my needs within minutes without me having to make the journey to Plattsburgh!
